[Open] Two-year Postdoctoral positions 2026 (2nd Call)

ComplexCité offers 2 postdoctoral positions in 2026. Positions are open to holders of a doctorate in a field that is covered by ComplexCité. Laureates of this program must have defended their PhD thesis before the beginning of the post-doctoral contract (*). The criteria for selection are scientific excellence and quality of the scientific project; the call also aims to promote applications that fit into an inter-team project of the ComplexCité consortium. The selection will be made by a jury made up of the Scientific Committee.

(*) Assuming a position, for recent PhD graduates, requires a preparation period due to administrative constraints: to start in month N, the thesis defense must have taken place before the 20th day of month N‑2. For doctoral degree holders, an administrative delay is also necessary to set up the postdoctoral position.

Each post-doctoral fellow will sign a “Contrat de travail” and will benefit from health and welfare insurance. The salary depends on the experience. For example, if experience is less than two years since the PhD has been obtained, the net salary will be approx. € 2500 per month (€ 3250 before tax).

Deadlines

  • Opening: 1st November 2025
  • Closure: 19th December 2025
  • Publication of the results: End of January 2026

  3. Description of the scientific project (max.: 3 pages)
  4. Letter of recommendation from the proposed postdoctoral supervisor(s) who belong(s) to ComplexCité
  5. Complete track record of master studies (all grades available at the date of submission; master diploma if already obtained)
